The Alphonse Kenison Scholarship Fund and the Susan C. Morse Scholarship Fund
The Alphonse Kenison Scholarship Fund was started in 1988 by the Lincoln County Community Theater & Orchestra to assist deserving students in the Lincoln County area pursuing further eduction in the visual and/or performing arts. Young men and women pursuing further education in Theatre, Music, Dance, or Art are welcome to apply. The amount of the gift is dependent on the number of students applying and the amount available at the time the applications arrive. The Alphonse Kenison Scholarship is funded by proceeds from show concessions and donations. The LCCT also administers the Susan Morse Scholarship. The Susan C. Morse Annual Musical Theatre Scholarship (in memory of a talented and much beloved member of our community) is a privately funded scholarship and will be awarded annually to a student pursuing further education in Musical Theater. The Susan C. Morse Annual Musical Theatre Scholarship will award a gift of $500 to a graduating senior pursuing further education in Musical Theater and/or Vocal Performance. According to the bylaws of this scholarship, three out of every six years scholarships will be awarded to a Lincoln Academy graduating senior.
