Special HD Concert: Pat Metheny: The Orchestrion Project
Jazz legend Pat Metheny brings his latest "solo” outing to
life on the big screen like never seen before. Pat Metheny’s THE ORCHESTRION
PROJECT was filmed over a two- day period at an abandoned church formally known
as the St. Elias Church, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, that Metheny uses as a
rehearsal space. With 17 Grammy Awards and three certified Gold albums to his
name, Pat Metheny has been a major player in the music industry for decades.
The filmmaking team included CineMusica’s Pierre and François Lamoureux and
Steve Rodby as co-producer. The film also includes never before seen footage of
a discussion with the filmmakers and Metheny at the Dolby Studio in NYC. Rated
PG.
