MCFF - Local Interest Program - Short Films

Lincoln Theater is pleased to launch Maine’s newest film festival!  With original movies, long and short, narrative and documentary, that are all based on true stories or events, There is bound to be something to please, entertain, inform and delight everyone.

MAKING CAPE POINT (31:45, Filmmaker: Rick Groleau)

A middle-aged bohemian reflects on his adventures as he uses an innovative technique to "paint” a promontory on Maine’s remote Wass Island.


VICTIM WITNESS  (9:02, Filmmaker: Emmett Soldati)

A criminal justice system that once failed victims in New Hampshire was changed by an attorney with a revolutionary idea: believe victims.


THE MAKER  (8:13, Filmmaker: Joanna Weaver)

Ceramic artisan Dan Weaver seeks to share his multi-disciplinary attitudes, skills and workshops with a new generation passionate about making.


THE GREY ZONE  (16:10 Filmmaker: Brian Gersten)

"The Grey Zone” documents the last land dispute between the US and Canada, which is a 20-acre island in the Gulf of Maine.


JACK  (8:00, Filmmaker: Nick Paonessa)

Written and starring local Ryan Gaul, Jack is based on a real story about a man who comes to grips with the fate of his sick cat, the only way he knows how.



-Saturday and Sunday Day Passes are $25/$20 LT Member -  can be purchased in advance through the Lincoln Theater office at 2 Theater Street in Damariscotta, by emailing or calling 207-563-3424. 

-Individual screening tickets are $10/$8 LT Member and will be available for purchase 30 minutes prior to the showing.
