(For a membership form, please click here)Starting in January 2011, a member of Lincoln Theater will be entitled to a $2 discount off of any ticket to any production -- movie, concert, show --that takes place on the Lincoln Theater stage. This includes not just the wonderful plays and musicals staged by Lincoln County Community Theater, but also the hugely popular live broadcasts from the Metropolitan Opera House and the National Theater in London, as well as the various movies presented. Members in 2011 will also be invited to attend select "Members Only events" that will be special occasions that will not want to be missed. It is Lincoln Theater's hope that by broadening the membership offerings that even more residents of the community can take advantage of the many offerings the theater provides.

The mission of Lincoln Theater is "to be a major community resource for the promotion, support, education and production of all aspects of the performing arts and to be stewards of the historic Lincoln Theater." Along with continuing the renovation of the historic building, which will include repairing the auditorium ceiling in early 2011, Lincoln Theater will also increase its performing art offerings. For example, the theater is exploring other HD concert broadcasts, as well as other live "in-person" performances. For instance, on July 20th, Lincoln Theater is pleased to announce that Maine Pro Musica, with 22 musicians, including a violin soloist and under the baton of Maestro Janna Hymes, will be performing "The Four Seasons," with music by Vivaldi and Piazzolla, live on the Lincoln Theater stage.
Volunteering
Volunteers are Lincoln Theater's greatest resource. We have a host of volunteer opportunities including:
- Set building, painting and costuming
- Show ushers
- Backstage assistance
- Helping out with special events, such as the live broadcasts from London's National Theater and the Met. Opera House

Ticket sales alone do not begin to cover all the costs of maintaining the local treasure that is the Lincoln Theater, or of all the programming we bring to the community each year. In addition to your membership, your annual gift makes a huge difference!
