The Season Planning Committee of the Lincoln County Community Theater is seeking directors and music directors for its 2010-2011 season. Interested directors/music directors are asked to submit a statement of interest with any accompanying supporting materials, such as a resume, to season@lcct.org or LCCT, PO Box 237, Damariscotta, ME 04543.
Guide to suggested titles
Lincoln County Community Theater, performing in the Lincoln Theater, downtown Damariscotta, will be presenting two plays and two musicals during its upcoming season. The committee has chosen possible titles for each slot and invite directors to offer an additional title of their own choosing, using the suggested titles as a guide in terms of genre and scope of production. Titles for the fall, where we are looking to present a drama or mystery, are The Miracle Worker, Wait Until Dark and Doubt. The winter musical, the only selection that has been finalized, will be A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. The spring slot will be a comedy. Committee titles are On Golden Pond, Breath of Spring, Run for Your Wife and The Sunshine Boys. Rounding out the season will be the summer musical with suggested titles of Seussical, Hello Dolly and The Pirates of Penzance. As the theater's production history is long, it may be impractical to avoid repeating some offerings. We suggest steering clear of more recently presented titles. For a list of past productions
